Well it does. But youtube like 550D Video Autofocus and have a look (and a listen) to what happens. It's the same still.

Also just noticed, when the camera does the AF assist (I'm assuming) by giving of a few flash strobes while focusing I've noticed the flash sounds like something is shorting. (i don't think anything is, that's just the sound). Is that normal for canon flashes? it's like a "dzzt" sound each flash

Just thought I'd post in here as I'll probably be around a lot more now.

Yeah, so I got my Canon 60D on Saturday. Loving it so far, bit of a learning curve from the Nikon. And stuffed up a few things in my order (bought slow cards, the kit lens which I've now just payed for a replacement etc)...

Got the 50mm f1.4 USM with it as well. Very nice.


One major suck though (apart from the above little annoyances) is I just looked on DWI and when I bought my last Tuesday, body only was $1250... and just looked it up then...$1079.. Really hurts considering I've only had it since Saturday and not even been able to use it just that much yet. But ah well, I guess it happens.

Anyway! Hope to get more involved in this section from now on!
